Maybe they’ll realize that he doesn’t deserve a literature prize for writing leftist songs.

So now it can be awarded for “Schemes Of My Father”.

Dylan is playing at the Winstar in Thackerville this Saturday. They should buy some high dollar backstage tickets and talk to him then.

The Peace prize is an entirely different beast from all the other Nobel prizes. Those haven’t been politicized.

If I remember right he paid Israel for a main battle tank during the Yom Kippur War.

No one deserves it if not Dylan. He is without doubt the greatest songwriter the USA has ever produced. His ear for the American language unsurpassed. He has remained true to his art and his recordings have the premier musicians in the field of pop, rock, country and western music.

Meanwhile, the typical Nobel for literature is some Commie craphead that no one reads. Exception the Egyptian guy Mafouz that the lunatics want to kill.

I love it. Bob Dylan is treating the overly pompous and self-important Nobel Prize Committee with the respect that they deserve. The Nobel Prize Committee lost their last shred of dignity when they awarded one of their paperweights to a lightweight U.S. president who was barely just sworn in.

Bob Dylan has always been his own man and he is beholden to nobody. Nor will he suck up to anybody. If the Nobel Prize Committee wants to present this to him, maybe they can show up at one of his concerts. Some people have to work for a living, you know?

He songs are not Leftist. He refused the opportunity to become the spokesman for the Left rather emphatically in fact.
I would say that initially the songs were about injustice and social issues. Since the 60s they have been personal reflections on his world and life and that of the Nation. Christian songs have been important since the 80s when he was born again.

I’ve never cared about the little freaky dude but may have to give him a little respect if he refuses to accept anything from that group.
