Although Hillary argues that Muslims were possibly present in DC since the time of George Washington, she has evidently forgotten the following along with everything else that she ever knew.

Hillary has forgotten that Washington’s successor, John Adams, had signed the Treaty of Tripoly into law because Muslims in North Africa were attacking American ships.

Ann now Hillary is ignoring that corrupt Congress is allowing radical Muslims to get away with attacking citizens in the homeland.

Corrections, insights welcome.

Trump can’t make Mexico pay for a border wall soon enough.

I’m sure there were probably a couple of Muslims around back then, but it was a few individuals finding themselves far away from their homelands rather than a sizeable demographic.

There were probably a couple of people from just about everywhere in the early American frontier.

The first meaningful relationship we had with the Muslims was refusing to pay naval tribute and sending whatshisname (edit: William Eaton, awesome story for anyone who hasn’t read it yet) to take care of it. It’s all in the book The Pirate Coast by Richard Zachs, strongly recommended.

Muslims were possibly present in DC since the time of George Washington ...

There was no D.C., to speak of, at the time of George Washington, who died in 1799. The national capital was first in New York City and then in Philadelphia during Washington's Presidency, with a brief refugee period in Princeton, N.J.

The District of Columbia was authorized by legislation in 1790. John Adams was the first President to reside there (as little as possible) beginning in 1800.

In summary, any Moslems resident, during George Washington's lifetime, in the area that is now D.C. would almost certainly have been plantation slaves.
