The interest part of that story about Noah was not just the drunkenness but when Noah was in a drunken state he lay naked asleep and Ham saw his father’s nakedness and made fun of it with his brothers. The Bible doesn’t seem to pass so much judgment on Noah’s drunkeness as it does on Ham. His brothers went backwards with a covering to cover their father to hide his shame! Ham and his descendents were then cursed for what ham did while his brothers were blessed. in short actions had consequences for many millions down thru the ages.
