If I was on the jury, truck guy would walk. When a total stranger tells you that he’s going to rip you out of your car, you’d be nuts to not believe him.

The people in the vehicle were crazy to have their windows down. One thug can clearly be heard saying he’s going to pull them out of their truck so that’s what their attorney should use as their defense.

What you say is true. But I can’t condone his actions.
What I would have done is to roll my windows up and then slowly start to move. They would not have been able to stop a 2 ton vehicle.

I do not understand why protestors are allowed to block streets and even Interstate Highways. I would indeed be in fear of my life if angry protestors blocked a road in front of me.
I am pretty sure if I try to block traffic I will not be allowed to do it.

Years ago, shortly after trading in a minivan for a Mustang, I came upon a broken up deer carcass in the middle of my lane. It was just after a curve, with little reaction time, and no time to stop.
I chose to straddle it, rather than veering off the road or into oncoming traffic, forgetting that I had low clearance. I barely clipped it, but a piece of that meat lodged in the undercarriage.
I didn’t have the means to raise the car or get under it. I removed what I could, but some remained. I had to live with the stench for a couple weeks. It was horrible. And that was venison. I can’t imagine what this guy’s vehicle must smell like.
What this guy did was well within his rights. Kudos to him!
