The LDS church leadership supports open borders, illegal immigration. No way they ever supported Trump since early on he said he would build a wall and deport illegals.
Not all Mormons support open borders and illegal immigration but the leadership in SLC sure does.
Privately I have had many Mormons tell me they are voting for Trump, even since the tape came out. Of course those I know don’t live in Utah so possibly those in Utah are more inclined to vote the way they are told.
