A commercial costs the company no matter how many are watching. And how many times have you seen a commercial and felt compelled to buy that product?

It's one thing to boycott by not buying from advertisers, buying team gear, or buying tickets to the games. But not watching a game on TV isn't hurting the NFL one bit.

You might want to read up on how the NFL makes money selling commercial time - The NFL has to give FREE commercial time to advertisers if the games fail to meet the predicted viewership levels.
