He was told to back off, he didn’t so yeah beat down justified. They had no idea what was going on so it triggered a perfectly natural fight or flight reaction
I’m with you. The guy stopped approaching the car. We don’t even know that he WAS approaching the car, in the video he’s just walking down the street.
The guy told the driver to go around him — so I have to assume there was plenty of room in the street to just drive around.
Instead, the car stopped, two men jumped out, and attacked the guy with a bat. The clown never made a move on them or tried to hit back.
If the “clown” in the street had been a black guy carrying balloons, and the car was white people, the Justice Department would be investigating hate crimes against the car’s occupants right now.
But because it was a clown, and the car’s occupants was black, it’s all good.
Ummm... Standing in the middle of the road, refusing to yield after being repeatedly asked to?
Jaywalking at least. Not worthy of a bat to the knee, but he WAS doing something to make the driver and passengers rightfully upset.
