ok, here is an article you can chew on, critique or correct if you wish

please do understand, tho.... I AM SUPPORTING AND CAMPAIGNING AND VOTING FULL SPEED AHEAD FOR MR TRUMP

i just think he has not been consistently conservative, he’s been more a “practical person” .. imho

EVEN IF THAT IMPRESSION IS ACCURATE, THOUGH, Trump is still 1000 times better than HilLIARy and I am working as hard as I can to get Trump elected.
Thanks for understanding. Pray for America. Vote for Trump!

I heard someone say it here once before. In a trauma room, you better stop the bleeding first before you worry about long term rehab.
Trump is the ER doc that can stabilize the patient and save their life. We can talk about other things later.

“Wrong but noce try, he says he wants to “REDUCE” the size and interference of government.”

From your mouth to God’s ear. I still think the elites don’t get him because the consitutional/socialist axis just doesn’t fit his worldview—it is mostly not interesting to him. At the same time he says he wants smaller government, he wants to force Ford to move its factories. He’s not on that axis.

Trump is a cultural force, primarily. Great article by Andrew Codevilla about this election.

QFT. It’s important we not forget the other things.

I prefer to see Trump as the guy who can destroy the power base of the Ruling Class. Rebuilding a constitutional republic out of that destruction will be our post-Trump task.

“i just think he has not been consistently conservative, he’s been more a “practical person” .. imho”

But that’s not what you said in your prior post. You accused Trump of having “leftist tendencies”.

That’s a very powerful charge. One that you’ve presented zero evidence for. If you simply misspoke out of haste, you should just say so.

Trump believes in the Constitution, including the separation of powers

i disagree .

anyway DT has also advocated a singlepayer health system while extolling similar such systems in foreign countries like Canada, etc. And he has also been known to call for a 14.15 percent WEALTH or Net Worth tax, etc.

would he still pursue such policies now? i think probably not. at least, he’s not been campaigning on them that I;ve heard, he’s left those ideas to his past (I think and I hope)

My point is, he’s not been a consistent conservative and he’s advocated some very leftist/statist/anti-libverty type programs... which are about as anathema to “conservatism” as imaginable.

again, I am voting for him. I am trying to round up as many additional voters for him as I possibly can.
so that’s that. thanks

“DT has also advocated a singlepayer health system while extolling similar such systems in foreign countries like Canada, etc.”

I remember that. Trump didn’t advocate a single payer health care system for the U.S. Unfortunately, he was inarticulate enough in that statement, that it was easy for some to infer that was his intention. If he truly believed in single payer, he would have stated it in different words, dozens of times, but he hasn’t.

It’s not news to anyone here that Trump has never been a model conservative, but look over his published policy letters and tell me that you’ve seen any Republican run on such a strongly conservative platform in living memory.

Even the sainted Ronaldus Magnus wasn’t born a perfect conservative, but grew into those positions over a lifetime. Trump has also had a lifetime to grow out of the silly liberal ideas he once supported.

What if? What if?

Mrs Bill is an absolutely known quantity. We know what we will get with Mrs. Bill.
Donald Trump is a risk. At worst he is not already corrupt and is less likely to become corrupted than anyone else who was/is running. At best he will come to champion a real free market and will take the government out of places it should not infest. Relatively speaking there is no downside to electing Trump. There is no upside to electing Mrs Bill.
