I may be wrong but I thought Gordon Humphrey was at one time an actual conservative.
The rest of the list contains ultra-libs and outright faggots (Shays, Bauman, Kolbe and probably several others) and there’s not a name among them I wish was still in Congress.
You are right, Humphrey was a strong conservative, elected in 1978 and 1984 and did not run in 1990.
