If it hits New England it won’t be my first hurricane by a long shot.But regardless of what happens my homeowner’s insurance will certainly go up next year.
I hate to break this to you but about 6-7 years ago your homeowners insurance stopped covering damage caused by hurricanes. I remember receiving the notice, I looked at other companies and they all did the same thing. I moved south since then but I remember being pissed because hurricanes are the biggest risk most NE homeowners face (other than fire).

I still remember the fearsome howling of the 1939 hurricane and 2 windows blowing in.
