Final Day of the Baseball Season:

Baltimore and Toronto will be Wild Card teams if they win their games.

Detroit must beat Atlanta, then beat Cleveland Monday in a make-up, if either Baltimore or Toronto lose.

In the National League.

San Francisco will play the Mets, with a win. The Cardinals need a Giants loss, beat Pittsburgh.

The New England Patriots lost today with their third string QB. Brady returns next week.

I'm making chicken soup with carrots, celery, potatoes, rutabagas, carrots and garlic. Looking forward to it.

So do Caldwell and Assmus get fired in the same week? Same day?

“My Royals, unfortunately have swooned in the second half. Pitching has got to improve if we’re going to be WS contenders next year.”

Injuries didn’t help, either. I’m also a Royals fan, still smiling from the last two years. :0)

Very disappointing day for the Lions. Probably the only win the Bears get this year.

Hey Tigers, it’s the frickin’ Braves. Geez, if they can’t win one of their last two against them, they don’t deserve it.

Once an athlete gets bery, bery rich and famous they always write a nasty tell-all book! Shame, really....

Not as much as they are rooting for Toronto. A Cleveland win, coupled with a Blue jays win over Boston, ends the regular season. Cleveland would then have a 1 1/2 game lead over the Bosox and home field in the playoffs and not need to makeup the Tigers game on Monday. A Boston win today dictates what happens tomorrow if I understand it correctly.

2 to 1 mid 4.

You’re right about SF. Bochy gets in, I think they run the table. Cubs have way too much pressure on them to get it done(though I’ll be pulling for them), SF has the experience...they’ve also got the karma of the even-year WS title vs. the Cubs, and that whole goat thing.

God will never let the Cubs win the WS.

If they did, it would confirm there is NO God.

And, that there is no Good or Evil.

And, there would be only matter and energy....

and...

power.

Let Reagan’s warning of the thousand year’s of darkness commence upon the Cubs winning the WS.

Now, PRAY they don’t.

Cuthbert solo shot for KC. 2 all top of 6. Toronto up 1 -0 over Boston bottom of 5.

SF is the best team that doesn't deserve to be there.

They went from the #1 team in MLB at the All Star break, to the worst record in baseball in the second half.

Much to everyone's chagrin, they are hitting on all cylinders...late.

But if a team gets to their bull pen, it's over.

31 blown saves in 2016.

Me too. It was a great time to be a Royals fan. Still watch ‘em down here in So. Texas via MLB Extra Innings.

He was just talking a few minutes ago about meeting the greatest baseball player ever, Willie Mays. Vin is the best. It is amazing to think there are grandfathers who listened to him call ball games when they were kids.

Sanchez gave up a leadoff walk, then got a 5-4-3 dp. Next batter F-8. End of 6, still a no no. Game is on TBS.

Tribe KC 2 -2 Top of 8.

Tribe, Santana 1 out walk. Kipnis doubled to right field corner. 2 and 3rd 1 down. KC bullpen busy. Lindor up, infield in.
