George H. W. Bush isn't the only member of the family who may be voting for Hillary next month.
His granddaughter Barbara Bush, one of George W. Bush's twins, 34, spent Saturday night partying with Huma Abedin in Paris at a Clinton gathering - and paid at least $5,000 for the privilege.
It's currently Paris Fashion Week and on Saturday Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour and Huma hosted a Clinton Designed To Win fundraiser at a store followed by a private dinner at the home of a billionaire.
Photos from the exclusive dinner show Huma, Bush and actress Dakota Fanning, 22, who has been helping raise money for Hillary for over a year.
Huma, along with Black Eyed Peas singer and producer Will.i.am and actress Fanning, spent Saturday afternoon at the Sonia Rykiel Paris store mobilize the expat vote with just five weeks to go.
Will.i.am was a early and loyal Obama supporter in 2008, but this election has backed Clinton the whole time. Tickets to the Sonia Rykiel event were $500 for entry and $1,000 for a photo
The pricier ticket was dinner afterwards at the home of Lauren Santo Domingo, for which tickets were a whopping $5,000 per guest for a regular seat, and $10,000 to be a 'co-host' which got 'preferred seating' at the dinner. It's not known what ticket Bush got.
Last month it was claimed by a Kennedy relative that the 41st president planned to vote for Hillary this November. Barbara's uncle Jeb, who ran for the Republican nomination, says he's not voting for Hillary or Trump and 'if everybody didn't vote, that would be a pretty powerful political statement, wouldn't it?'

The "original" is always level headed and grounded because he KNOWS what it is like to be poor, have no security and live in the real world. The mansion and the trappings are greatly appreciated. He seems to be able to socialize comfortably with everyone from every social strata. He is a genuine person.
Once he is gone any vestige of connection to the real world is gone too. You cannot teach reality. His decedents will never experience reality and can only pretend to be in sympathy with the common man.
In a way Trump and his family breaks that mold and seems to actually get it. The Bush's; not so much.

There are lots of reasons to watch this interview, but one (at least to me) very pertinent part of the tape, was when Ambrose talks about the corruption at the political top both in the US and in Europe. And then he says that the good side of the story "is that ordinary people in America have held the line...people resisting abusive power...not always successfully but basically preventing what I consider to be a decadent and dishonest leadership class from driving this country down, and turning it into a Banana republic. The ordinary people are the ones who are going to save America."
And that is what this election is all about, and this piece of news about Huma and young Barbara Bush frolicking about with the rcih and famous in Paris, illustrates this so well.

When Bush was president I didn’t like the way the press went after his daughters, but they did always seem kind of dimwitted to me.
I always had a thing. Nothing political to be sure.
I used to think, back in the 1990s, that at least the family members were upstanding Americans. Now it seems they are running with hell-hounds to bring America down with cultural rot and political sleaze. They are to be pitied and prayed for. But certainly never voted for again!
