Interesting, as a type 2 diabetic, with Dawn phenomenon I'm on a pump. I wonder if this would work for me?
I also know that Tandem as ganged it's Tslim pump with a Dexcom G4 Continuous BG monitor to do the same thing.

I have Gastropresis with Diverticulosis and the diet is NO FIBER, seeds, nuts etc., so it tends to put you into the Pre-Diabetic stage, all ready doing the daily morning monitoring. Not been put on any drugs yet or asked to do multiple daily readings. That may change when I see the ENDO in Nov. Some of my meds drive up my sugar levels as well as the higher carb intake, and I don’t eat/drink sweets. Even on days when a cup of clear soup is my only food the next morning my readings hover at 120. My eldest is Type 2, life style, says not to worry. He’s not the one with a boat load of health issues I have.

No one know how much the drugs contribute to the sugar count either. All the written material just says effects blood sugar count. It would be nice to know how many points and have that factored in with the 15% the meter can read off base.
