This catheter needs to be inserted into the skin at a new site every three days. I would not like something like that in my skin all day long. I have got tiny blackberry bush stickers into my hands and it drives me crazy when I can’t take them out. Imagine the pain installing that catheter under the skin every three days? I bet is uses a nasty square needle. Yikes!

they’re not too bad..a very thin needle inside a cathater. after it snaps in the needle slides back out leaving the tube in you

Most younger diabetics use insulin pumps along with cgm’s to control Type 1.

They’ve already been shown to keep A1c levels down and complications at bay better than any insulin delivery method yet developed.

The artificial pancreas is an even bigger game changer because it keeps blood sugars in an even tighter range while significantly reducing low blood sugar episodes which have been the price paid for tight control with older technologies.
