You were stalking him and taking photos. Kinda weird, yes? Plus you approached him and acted up about his Hillary sticker. What if a Hillary supporter did that to a person registering voters for Trump? Your behavior was unusual and to him it wasn’t worth talking with you further since it might have turned out badly.

The guy was SUPPOSEDLY non-partisan. When I asked about the Hillary logo he got all apologetic and made a beeline OUT of there.

In your mind he was supposed to be nonpartisan, but obviously he was not, and he even was displaying the sticker to show that. He left because you were acting strange and he needed to sign up more people for Hillary, not jibber-jabber with you about his little sticker.
