I hardly watched the show, but that theme song played by Al Hirt remains my favorite TV theme ever.

A few years ago I ate breakfast at a restaurant in Ocean City, MD. Among the decor was old licensed lunch boxes along the upper lip near the ceiling , including a Green Hornet lunch pail. I remember (vaguely) watching TV's Hornet (my late stepdad remembered the radio version).

TV's GH was from the same company that produced Batman and GH and Kato guest starred on Batman one week (was it with Roddy McDowall as Bookworm)?

Theme song seems to be a jazzed up version of Flight of the Bumble Bee.

I have had this album since I was a kid. Digitized a fresh copy of the album that I found on eBay, and I enjoy it on my iPod today.

Anyone remember "Green Hornet bubble gum with the collector cards (that competed for space in our top-lid opening school desks with Superman bubble gum cards, Batman cards, Ugly Stickers and ... schoolwork)?
