p.s. I went and looked, that is one butt ugly piece of furniture. $5900??? My plumber could build that for $59.
For 6k I would expect radical Steampunk style with ebony ball-tipped brass throttles and non-groaning lambskin leather with Chesterfield tufting, and don’t forget the dragon-head finials and claw feet.
That would be a nice addition!
If were still working, I would be, right now instigating in favor of this chair, for the time when a used one might be available at a good price.
Still, I would have to justify the cost.
And that would be a hard sell.
