Is Glenn Beck descending into some sort of paranoia, I mean like something pathological, not just stubbornness. His view of the world around him seems to have become quite paranoid over a few years. Once upon a time he was quite rational, if a bit emotional. He is not any more. He looks to me to be following a path that I have seen in the 9 sons and daughters of a man I knew many years ago who himself was locked into paranoia. The four sane ones among the progeny talk of the “family demons.” I am watching the second son who has been my friend for half a century beginning to show the same signs as his siblings. He seems to know what is happening and bemoans it on his rational days. He is not far gone yet, but on some days he cannot understand why I don’t see that other people are trying to harass and harm him.
The more I think about it the more sad it is. He got a TRUE million people to come to the Washington Mall. He had that batphone for Obama people to call and leak. He should have been a leader in all this but something happened to him. He broke down.
