While Playboy Magazine is often known for its more risky photo shoots, the magazine is making headlines with its recent October issue for a different reason. Noor Tagouri, an American journalist that happens to wear a hijab, was featured in the issue, marked as the magazine's "renegades" issue.
The renegades series features both men and women who are changing the way people think. "Theyve risked it alleven their livesto do what they love, showing us what can be accomplished if we break the rules," states Playboy.

OK I believe you but most will not.
I agree.
I heard (possibly on Limbaugh) that at one of the celebrated bacchanalian resorts, he - the teetotaler - stayed in the kitchen and ate with the help rather than consorting with the debauched millionaires.
I never liked Trump personally.
I love Trump politically.
Lucky.
I was eleven in 1980, but I knew who Barbi was.

Someone put together a group of pictures of the graduating class of the University of Cairo from early in the 20th Century to most recent and put them on the net a couple of years ago.
The results were amazing to me. The women in the school picture were reduced in number but the women progessively got more ‘hijabed’ if I can coin a phrase. In other words, in one of the most cosmopolitan Muslim countries, women were displaying an increasingly fundamentalist Islamic religious view as demonstrated by their dress code.
The same thing happened to Christianity when the Catholic church responded to the Protestant Reformation with their Counter Reformationn.
I used to do a lot of photography as a hobby. Then I discovered that I really had no talent.
Do you still use film, or have you gone all digital? I have a friend who still uses his 8X10 view camera from time to time.
I can appreciate good photography when I see it; and, you are certainly "there". I'll follow your stuff on youtube. Do you have a web site for showing off your great stuff?
I haven't used film in years, although I still have one film camera. I used to do the whole home darkroom bit and all, but digital has really come a long way... and it does make life a lot easier.
I spent my whole career in the computer field, so I only got to shoot in my spare time, which sometime was somewhat lacking (I usually did contract programming gigs on the side too).
My web site is lightcraftstudio.com
To quote Raquel Welch when asked about Playboy ... “It is printed on some very nice paper”
Even as conservative as I am today, I have no regrets reading Playboy as a youngster.
The photograph in your most recent post is also excellent.
I eventually learned that MY greatest photos were probably accidents. ;-D
