CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) Charlotte's police chief announced Saturday that he would release body and dashboard camera footage of the shooting of a black man after several days of demonstrations that have coalesced around demands that the public see the video. Chief Kerr Putney said at a news conference that the video would be made available through a web link in a news release that was coming out within a half hour of him addressing media.
Every law enforcement division needs to be trained in social media and after every questionable interaction they need to record and photograph every detail with cell phone video. Cops have cameras and the need to be encouraged to use them to provide evidence since every citizen is standing around with a cell phone
Agreed. Blacks knew OJ was guilty but didn’t care. It was a vendetta that had to be paid.
Chief Kerr Putney said at a news conference with multiple hems and haws and more lip licking than a pack of dogs after eating.
WSOC just tweeted that they now have the video
Where is the Web Link?
Audio comes on only after he is shot
another video shows him backing up when shot
I can’t really tell much from this, can you?
I can see why they did not want to release it. So jumbled it will not change the minds of any rioters.
Suitcam shows ankle holster 0:16, 0:23
Dashcam shows gun out, left hand, 0:16.
That video is useless.
Yeah, I thought I saw a gun in his L hand at his side too.
