I think Attila The Hun also died from a nosebleed.

Yes he did or so we are told. I always felt he was assassinated as he lay drunk. A sharp narrow shaft driven up the nostril and into the brain would do the job nicely. It would look like a nosebleed and since there were no forensics like today it would be an almost perfect crime.
Wow I didn’t know a person could die from that, but I guess one could if it never stopped. I broke my nose once when I was 13 and I would get vicious nosebleeds on an off until they had to cauterize it a few times, but wow, I definitely know what it feels like to drown in ones own blood. I’m 54 now and I remember that like it was yesterday, blood gushing down my throat, coming out my mouth, very scary but it always stopped once I put cotton up my nose. If I knew I could die from it I probably would have been freakin’ out a lot more.
