Isn’t fainting fairly uncommon? I almost fainted once and remember it vividly (organic chemistry lab, Bethel College 1994). I also passed out for a moment at the end of a race-was unbelievably sick after that and remember that as well (400 meter dash, indoor meet 1990).

I would never remember that particular day in lab nor that specific race if not for the fact that I lost consciousness in one and nearly did in the other. Losing consciousness just isn’t something you forget.

I locked my legs once and fainted. Apparently it’s quite common in the military.
