During my misspent youth I had the supreme pleasure of racing a Ferrari 250 GTO all the way through Denver at about 3:00 in the morning. I was in a very tricked out Alfa Romeo. Nothing could ever compare to the exhaust note of those two Italian engines traveling at between a hundred and a hundred-fifty miles an hour. He would pass me in the straights and I would catch him in the corners. It's amazing how many "corners" Interstate 25 has at those speeds! The event remains a high point of my life. What a great sport he was to open up that Ferrari and let er go.
Yes, I did lose my license for something else shortly after that. :) As I should have.

I bought an Alfa 4C Spider four weeks ago, it rocks. Carbon fiber monocoque ,hand built.Love the car and don’t think I’ll ever get rid of it, Jeremy Clarkson referred to it as a “ puppy Ferrari”, and I think that a very apt description. Had a bad hankering for a GTV 6 when I was younger, just couldn’t get the deal done.
