I’m iPhone impaired, so can’t link, but did you see the CBC Sunday Morning 9/11 piece on Italian post war one offs?
Incredible beautiful autos! They’re on you tube. Also Velocity’s Channel featured a georgeous Ferrari one off on “Chasing Cars” last week, that went to auction and a bid of 25.4 million that didn’t make the reserve!
I guess Ferrari’s are just beautiful and do great on the track!
(Used to go to the F1 at Watkins Glen in late 60’s, with night before pit passes. Team Ferrari was tuning racers up to ten grand rpm, then cut off power. With their small fly wheel it was scream to silence in about two seconds.). Ah, memories!

It is not an accident that the 250GTO looks a lot like the 240Z. So much so that there was a rather good kit in the early 90’s to make a 240Z look like one. The company was of course shut down.
Wow, beautiful! (The car, too.)
Thanks for posting the link. First photo...WOW...a blue 250 GTO with a white stripe. Very nice!
That was my thought. Ferrari has an X-factor when it comes to beauty.
I was impressed myself. It was a live event and the cars were being pulled by hand with straps.
Owners driving and having fun.
Yes, but it still hurt.
Watched a bit last night. The owner of the 1970 Lancia Stratos HF Zero was awesome.
36in tire to top.
They’re built like tanks I hear.
Ever drive a hot one?
Because they are beautiful.
They are.
I bought an Alfa 4C Spider four weeks ago, it rocks. Carbon fiber monocoque ,hand built.Love the car and don’t think I’ll ever get rid of it, Jeremy Clarkson referred to it as a “ puppy Ferrari”, and I think that a very apt description. Had a bad hankering for a GTV 6 when I was younger, just couldn’t get the deal done.
Then it was manslaughter
We are cut from similar cloth...we recently celebrated 44 years together and I cobbled a '64 PV544 together from a package deal of three. It was my primary vehicle while in grad school and a few years after.
We now return you to the proper Ferrari discussion!
I just read up on the specs. It's nice to see what they are up to. Sounds like a fun and very capable car! I hope that you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed my Alfas back in the day.
