I think this is the equivalent of Romney’s 47% remark. She won’t recover.
Romney’s 47% remark was merely a factual observation about the number of people receiving govt checks, that the Mediascum turned into a huge smear against Romney (and unlike Trump, Mittens was far too weak and ineffective to fight back). Hillary’s “deplorables” remark is far worse, it is the outright contemptuous condemnation of 1/4 of the US population.... and, of course, she also ridiculed the other portion of Trump supporters as blindly reaching for change any change no matter what kind.
I think you’re right. This is a double face palm moment for her campaign.
