Perhaps you could show a historical heroin or opium plague that was stopped any other way instead of pretending you're somehow qualified to judge everyone else while dragging the beam around in your own eye.
How about you read about the way Christ stops the power of addiction, then go shamefaced away to actually understand the New Testament for the first time in your life?!?
Indeed you should preach what you intended to preach to me, to yourself in a mirror.
You in fact are a fan not of Christ or even of Christians — but of “Christianization” (as in a secular-at-heart society that apes it). Form of religion, denying its power.
Vices never disappear that are swept under the rug this way. They only transform into other forms that are, for the current time, escaping the public opprobrium.
We have traded a little suppression of drug habits for a whopping boat load of crime, and not even the pressure cooker of Singapore and China has escaped the way evil always finds new outlets.
> I am Christian and as a Christian I don’t believe that those who work hand in glove with Satan to poison and enslave people should be given a slap on the wrist any more than those who bear false witness as a matter of routine should be believed when they claim they’re Christian.
It doesn’t matter what you believe. You haven’t the right to inflict your beliefs on others with a call to violence.
