The Constitution should be enforced above all. Essential to Constitutional rule is due process, even if one accepts that the content of soap is a legitimate concern of the federal government.
(The diktat of the FDA explicitly rules, IIRC, what chemicals are even ALLOWED in the materials—not merely the supposed claims of the companies.)

I don’t think you are hearing me. I don’t think the government should control the content of soap.
I do think the government should prosecute fraud/false advertising/contracts.
If fraud is being perpetrated by soap companies, or false advertising is being done, or a contract not being adhered to, yes, the government should be involved, whether it’s a soap company or a widget company, makes no difference.
