Legendary douche Gerry Spence, a legend in his own mind.
It is not just the criminal justice system it comes all the way down form the supreme court, congress, senate and administrative branches.
We all need to read this book
Randy Weaver (Ruby Ridge) is nothing like I remember from the press
Maybe in Idaho they new the truth but I was in Colorado
What the FBI did is unbelievable
Almost hate to read the rest of the book
Just as long as they treat affluent professionals with respect, nothing will change. In most wealthy areas, the cops are viewed as hired servants who keep the riffraff under control.
We can respect the good honest cops while trying to figure out how to get rid of the corrupt or abusive cops ( and lawyers and judges). Our liberties depend on us doing this
Cops do what they’re told to do. The corruption comes from the administration they report to.
Thank you for starting this thread, H. People have varying perspectives, often based upon their environment and experiences.
Once citizens have personally (or their family/friends) been abused by this EVIL and CORRUPTED system, often times their points of view change.
It is a stunning experience to realize how far from God our citizenry has become, from the VERY TOP to the very bottom. I think it is vitally important to begin to question WHO is responsible for the overall destruction of our once beautiful, God-honoring society. There is good reason why Putin expelled George Soros from his country! Soros, and others, have worked tirelessly for decades, to undermine all that is good and holy.
I always say most, if not all of our problems result from our distance from God. I believe it was John Addams who wrote that our republic was meant for a deeply religious and moral people, and was wholly inadequate for any other.
Our leaders and too many of our citizens have become so morally bankrupt, it makes me wonder if such a nation, who began as one nation under God can ever be restored.
Officer gunned down in New Mexico by face-tattooed suspect
CBS News ^ | September 2, 2016
A police officer who authorities say attempted to chase down a 38-year-old man with three active arrest warrants was fatally shot by the suspect Friday after an exchange of gunfire in a southern New Mexico town.
The suspect, Joseph Moreno, also was killed in the morning shootout near a trailer park in Alamogordo, police said at a news conference. The desert town of about 31,000 people is home to the White Sands National Monument and Holloman Air Force Base.
Police identified the slain officer as Clint Corvinus, a four-year veteran who graduated from high school in Alamogordo. Authorities said he is survived by his parents, girlfriend and an 8-year-old daughter.
Spence points to the explosion of brutality leading up to the murder of Freddie Gray in Baltimore, insisting that this is the way it has always been: cops get away with murder.
...
Really? The ones tried were exonerated in court.
Is that you Obama?
Right now I have absolutely no faith whatsoever in the integrity of the FBI or the Federal Justice System.
Cops are human beings capable of all the good and bad that human beings are capable of.
But the screening process and mental health screening weeds out the vast majority of the problem people who would intentionally do harm to innocents or commit crimes against the public.
That leaves, for the most part, human error as a problem to solve.
Some of that can be alleviated by training, supervison, and strong leadership.
It is also important to remember that there is more than one peraon involved in the relationship between the police and the public.
Everyone wants to jump on the video of the cop being rude or the video of a susoect getting shot and nobody in thhe public understands why it got to that.
Nobody sees the day to day disrespect and hatred spewed at cops.
Just 2 days ago I was at a crime scene and the suspect was in custody...getting sent to nail with his case directed to mental.gealth court due to his “issues.”
I was seated in my patrol car when 4 relatives of the suspect arrived in a car....two 20 somethings in front and two preteens in the back seat.
The adults go speak with the primary officer and then walk back past my patrol car.
I smile and nod my head in a common “how is it going greeting”
The adult closest to me flips me off with a look of disdain.
I leaned out of my window and said “Hey, what was that for?” He yelled Fuck You at me and the 9 y.o. in the back seat flipped me off while shouting “(insert name of agency) are punk bitches!”
Now I have never dealt with theae guys before....zero interaction previously...and its definitely not my fault that their relative threatened to kill people inside and burn down the community center.
All the bad words I wanted to say and they surely deserved cannot come out.....I must be respectful to a 9 year old who calls me filthy names and flios me off.
If I say even “back at ya buddy” when the suspects defense attorney reviews the video...here comes the complaint, 6 months investigation, and a few days off without pay.
So I was left with shouting “have a nice day, God Bless.”
There is still a chance I will get disciplined for that last commebt since in all likelihood the group worship a different god than I do so someone will try to call it religous based and then there is always the claim of racism which is as ubiquitous sunshine in the Soutb Pacific these days.
We (the police) are being asked to do a lot of social work along with law enforcement...we are working in real and perceived problems as it relates to relationshios with the community.
How about the other half of the relationship start doing some introspection and work on themselves.
Since when has it been proven Freddy Gray was murdered?
The independent witness, the other prisoner, corroborates what the van driver said..the drive was normal....Fred Gray was thrashing himself about.
I thought that bloviating jerk retired......guess not......
Well, then, let’s disband the police and let criminals run free.
Oh, and yes, let’s eliminate the Second Amendment and leave honest citizens naked to the depredations of murderers and other thugs.
Madrid Train bombing. ISn’t Madrid in Spain?
