Part of me understands the lure of the stadium, but I really like my big screen, my refrigerator, and my climate controlled house.
Beyond that, college football is every bit as much fun as is the NFL. The NFL is not needed at all.
Speaking of college football, the local UConn Huskies are desperate to convince the Big Twelve that they should be invited.
So, of course, being the liberals they are, their main technique is to lie about attendance and pretend they have major local support for their lousy team.
This week (after charging their season ticket holders full boat) they gave away 10,000 seats for free on the Internet.
Even with that they couldn’t fill the stadium!
Now there are some season ticket-holders that should be angry!
As for the NFL season ticket-holders, I don’t care if the NFL charges them a million dollars a season. If someone is stupid enough to pay it, fine.
As a foot note. This year The Chicago Bears reduced the price of 2 pre-season games for season ticket holders by 40%. They jacked up the 8 regular season game price by 10%.
America, what a country.
The NFL has three conferences: NFC, AFC, and the SEC.
Wouldn’t it be great to watch the college football champ play the worst NFL team? There used to be an American Bowl where the best collegiate players played a professional team. This quickly became as silly and lop-sided as you would imagine, and was consigned to the ash pile of history.
The bathroom line is probably shorter too
