Fatalii Gourmet Jigsaw is reportedly hotter than Carolina Reaper, although it has yet to be confirmed by Guinness. I have a couple dozen of these ‘Jigsaw’ plants. :-)

I believe the Carolina Reaper is the hottest pepper going, scoville scale 2,200,000, in case someone is dumb enough to try. Yes current record holder. The "designer" of the pepper, though, has some news ones he will release in 2017 that are 3.3 and 3.5mm scovilles. They are hybrids of the Reaper. He is trying to perfect them before certification at various labs. 3.5mm will probably produce some interesting videos.
