I watched a match the other night. It’s amazing the NRL players can put up with so much punishment. The game itself is a little dull, to me, but not to its fans, obviously.
Try REAL Rugby, called rugby union. It is a real man’s game, much better than NRL (rugby League). All action, available on line via ESPN3.
Sevens is an interesting variation on rugby. 7 men per team on a full-size rugby field. Seven minutes per half with 2 minute half time. Very fast moving and the typical game is a half hour. No time to get bored.
