Thanks for reminding me why I don’t watch the sports media, except during a game, and even then the volume is on mute (I don’t need someone telling me “whatta catch!”)
You’re still providing them with revenues by simply turning it on. They could care less if you have the volume on.

Hockey is the least politically-infected sport broadcasted. Neither the players nor commentators bring politics into the conversation. No a**hole players making statements in support of BLM or other liberal BS causes.
