Bleacher Report ^ | August 31, 2016 | Mike Freeman

Across NFL front offices, there are team officials who are not offended, and even embrace, the controversial position of Colin Kaepernick. They are out there. Statistically, they have to be. But they are keeping a low profile.

They seem to be far outnumbered by the members of NFL front offices who despise him. Truly, truly hate him.

"I don't want him anywhere near my team," one front office executive said. "He's a traitor."

A traitor?

I wonder when Kaepernick is cut by the 49ers will Goddell force a team to pick him up, a la Michael Sam?

The sports media is virtually all in for the oppressed millionaire.

Thanks for reminding me why I don’t watch the sports media, except during a game, and even then the volume is on mute (I don’t need someone telling me “whatta catch!”)

If the sports media wasn't all in for the oppressed millionaire they'd be pointing out this 2014 picture proving his disrespect wasn't a new thing and oppression has nothing to do with it. He needs to be called out on this.

You’re still providing them with revenues by simply turning it on. They could care less if you have the volume on.

The elites love pro football, and indeed all pro sports.

Why?

Because it distracts the credulous masses from the real problems in our country.

We are in an existential battle for the continued existence of our Nation. Our children will either live free or put on chains depending on current events.

It’s all Bread and Circuses. Everyone is free to opt out.

Steve Spurrier was on “Fox & Friends” this morning and Brian Kilmeade asked him about Kaepernick. He punted.

It doesn’t natter what front offices think. Ultimately, they should consider what fans think.

Is your average football fan going to feel slapped in the face by Kaepernick?

I would argue the typical supporter of Kaepernick is far less likely to be a fan - which means spending money on tickets or jerseys, or watching games.

I would argue that people would go to a 49ers game just to give this traitor hell and flip him off.

When they play the National Anthem at this Thursday’s NFL Salute to the Military, they should seat a disabled veteran next to Colin Kaepernick.

[Thanks for reminding me why I don’t watch the sports media]

Hockey is the least politically-infected sport broadcasted. Neither the players nor commentators bring politics into the conversation. No a**hole players making statements in support of BLM or other liberal BS causes.

This is how it starts. There are a lot of ignorant followers in this country who will pay for a ticket and sit through the Anthem. They’re in the right to do it...but a spilled beer on their lap or a shove, push or some vicious language will set things off like a tinder box. (In every major city).

Better to drop the subject all together and not give him his 15 minutes.

The NFL which means Not for Long when you keep acting like this.

I’m done with the NFL and pretty much all of the “ball” sports.

Traitor? Of a sort.
Gracchite? Bingo.

“The Gracchite, even more than most liberals, has the peculiar habit of fomenting wars, but seldom fighting in them. He loudly denounces the wealth of others, but keeps his own. He sneers at the upper classes, but cannot escape identification with them. He is publicly in favor of integrated schools, but sends his own children to segregated schools. It is probably asking too much of any man, particularly a Gracchite, to practice what he preaches.” (Wilmot Robertson – the Dispossessed Majority).

Unhappy Kappy has a shoe collection that would embarrass Imelda Marcos. What will this pampered overpaid attention whore do for an encore? Will Colin tell the world he "self indentifies" as COLLEEN?
