I don’t think the GOP is in any way, prepared for this argument.

In any way.

We had the GOP deciding things for quite a while. Meanwhile we continued with the mess of healthcare, we had in the country. Expensive, mess.

Expensive. Mess.

Obamacare was not the ultimate solution, but we sure hadn’t come up with one ourselves either.

Trump may. But it makes no sense to simply be anti-Obamacare if we are not meanwhile, presenting a solution. Because what Obamacare replaced was even worse in many cases.

We had the chance. We did not do anything.

We might want to sit down, and not mention this topic.

Just saying.

Both parties decided that protecting the medical cartels and their massive political contributions was more important. Even today, most commentary on the EpiPen scandal is deliberately avoiding the point.

IMO until all Federal government employees, including Representatives and Senators, have to go through the same process to get coverage as all we lowly peons, they will not come up with any replacement recommendations.

Once people had no choice about the scope of the coverage they wanted and basic coverage included all pre-existing and mental health benefits being covered as any other illness the cost became unsustainable. Single payer will also be unsustainable.
