Donald Trump is scheduled to speak with Impact Network President and CEO Bishop Wayne T. Jackson on Saturday in Detroit, Michigan to reach out to the African American community.
The Impact Network is the only African American owned and operated Christian television network that broadcasts across the nation.
Mr. Trump will answer questions that are relevant to the African American community such as education (including HBCUs), unemployment, making our streets safe and creating better opportunities for all, explained Pastor Mark Burns, a Trump supporter. The interview is set to air at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
Burns added that Trump will also outline policies, which will impact disenfranchised minorities.
Citizens around the country will see, as Ive have seen, the heart and compassion Mr. Trump has for all Americans, which includes minority communities whose votes have been taken for granted for far too long, Burns stated.
Burns joined Breitbart News Daily on SiriusXM Patriot Ch. 125 Monday morning and explained that the campaign chose to address the African American community on The Impact Network in Detroit because it will have the greatest impact within the African America community.
This is a really exciting time for the Trump campaign, Burns added. So many doors within the African American community within this country have opened up for Mr. Trump and we were really just being strategic and make sure we chose the right place.

Keeping my fingers crossed....for a great outcome.
Evangelical blacks are Trump’s best chance at making inroads into the African American community.
This is very smart politics.
Other than, perhaps, Huckabee, would any of the 15 other R presidential candidates have done this?
Huckabee won like 47% of the Black vote when he ran for Arkansas Governor. I’m sure he’s advising Trump on his outreach.
Watch out!!! The rats will have their planted trouble makers there. Could backfire.
So now we know how the last 6 buildings left standing in Detroit will burn to the ground
If nothing else he is making the Democrats work at retaining their share of the black vote, expending time and resources as they do.
Very smart strategy.
Great call by Trump !
Brilliant move.
Just guessing here, but seems like a certain neurologist would have.
If Trump keeps pointing out the straight facts...that the Democrats have spent a couple of trillion dollars supposedly to help the black community and that nothing has gotten better.
That their homes are worthless, their families are destroyed, their jobs have gone away and the cheep labor is being taken by illegals, and that the poverty rate continues to soar, with out of control crime.
...and then point out how many of Hillery’s, Obama’s, Sharpton’s, Jacksn’s, etc. cronies have gotten filthy rich in the process...he will wake a lot of them up.
The DNC and the establishment RINOs fear this...but he can do it if he will just stick to the message.
Black and Latino Amerians...for God’s Sake Wake up!

Good showing in Detroit + Blue collar SE Michigan cross-over + West Michigan conservatives + Bernie voters + UP gun owners.
That will be more than enough to win Michigan.
Ahem. My neighborhood.
Also college-educated blacks who work in the business world and didn't become doctrinaire liberals.
Interesting anecdote about this. The fact that any constituency votes 90-95% for one party is a very unnatural act. Men or women, white or black, young or old, however you slice the demographics the split would naturally be 50-50, 60-40, at most 70-30.
Way back in 2000, the morning after the election (Bush v Gore), I was in a train station waiting for a train and went to get my shoes shined. A traditional-looking black man, elderly, did the work. I was very polite and asked if he had an opinion about the campaign, now that it was over. He said little, but acknowledged that he voted for Gore mostly because he always voted Democratic, but that one of these days he was going to switch because he thought the Dems only paid attention to blacks when an election rolled around.
Maybe Trump will provide that moment, when the 95-5 margin shifts to 80-20 or 75-25.
Finally, note that for each 10% the black vote moves from (D) to (R) this is a 1.3% move in the popular vote. When blacks start voting (R) at 70-30 margins the Democrats are in deep, deep trouble, because they lose 3.5% of the popular vote.
Bernie voters will not vote for Trump. But they might just stay home, which counts as 1/2 vote as long as they don’t show up for Hillary.
