During the 1950s and 1960s, cities would send out trucks in the middle of the night to spray DDT into the air to fight the plague of summertime mosquitos. They would go up and down the blocks in their truck.
And as children of 60’s we used to play and dance in the fog of these trucks ad they rolled through neighborhoods.
I once heard HRC say that she used to also play in the fog of mosquito control trucks. But I can’t seem to locate any source material. Does anyone have a link to that comment?

In Dallas, back then they used old B25s flying low and slow to spray the DDT. They were a sight to see.
They sprayed just before sunset here. I, like many, recall riding my bike in behind them in the mist. DDT didn’t seem to harm lightning bugs, there were many more then than there are now.
