The MCC warns spectators at Lord's ground not to injure players with stray champagne corks.

    That they are. Emptied a couple Millenium eve, mixed them 50/50 with Guinness Extra Stout—tasty! IIRC, that was created to darken champagne back when Queen Victoria died.
