I agree. If she really thought that she was winning, she’d take the high road. Why? First, it gets more of the undecided voters to take you seriously and, second, because taking the high road doesn’t cause you to expend political capital - it makes getting your legislation through that much easier. Plus, it makes legacy-building easier.
