Incredible. How lucky you are.

I have a cousin (animal lover) who has a wild hummingbird living in her yard who will perch on her hand.

All I have is a mockingbird, a bunch of cats, some raccoons, some possums, and a pet skink (living in the tiny courtyard).;-)

Oh, and I feed the birds sunflower seed in the morning. Make them hunt insects in the afternoon.

Are there no native hummingbird species in your region? If there are, put out a few feeders, plant some red flowers. They’ll find you.

The wife also has quite a following among the local deer population. Here she is conversing with one of her favorites, Bambi.
