Watched the full, unedited version with my 17-year old grandson the other day. He’d never seen the, uh, cut-out parts (the one with the airplane shaking violently and the well-endowed female passenger jiggling, for example).
He enjoyed it.
My 1st husband was an engineer for a company that often contracted jobs in Mexico-I sometimes took vacation days to spend with him there, and we always brought movies from home to watch. One weekend, we had people from his job over to the place we were staying, and they wanted to watch US movies-we put on Airplane. Some of them had never seen it, so they were howling as hysterically as we had the first time-we did have to explain some of the double entendre stuff to them in Spanish-they were as much fun to watch as the movie...
