I looked it up and I guess the NBA All-Stars won the gold medal by beating a bunch of kids from Serbia by about a hundred points or so.

I personally don't care about the color of the players. They could be the all-white NBA All-Stars but it still doesn't make it right that we can send a bunch of professionals to represent us at the Olympic games.

My fondest Olympic memory was when the U.S. Hockey team beat the Russians in 1980. Now the players on the U.S. team back then were basically still in college or high school and never played a minute in the NHL. The Russians on the other hand averaged around 30 years old and did nothing but play hockey all their lives. It was good to see a bunch of college kids beat them.

I hope next time around, a bunch of kids from some other country socks it to the NBA All-Stars.
