The unnamed woman got into a screaming match with a stewardess on a Spirit Airlines flight from Baltimore to Atlanta, in the US.
In the footage, the woman can be heard complaining to a member of the cabin crew that they refused to give her two plastic cups.
The flight attendant then sharply tells her: "You need to sit down, the seatbelt sign is on. Right now!"
But this only serves to enrage the female passenger, who rants back: "This is all about two plastic cups!"
A fellow passenger can then be heard getting in on the fight, calling out to the woman: "Just sit down, for God's sake, c'mon, trying to land a plane!"
But undeterred from her cup-claiming mission, the woman carries on demanding two drinking vessels.
Clearly riled, another passenger then steps in, telling her: "For Christ's sake, lady, sit in your f***ing seat". It then all becomes a bit of a free-for-all with fellow travellers calling out, including another woman who says: I'll buy you two f***ing cups."
But the angry woman just responds that everyone is being "disrespectful" to her.
Eventually, she returns to her seat without the cups after warning an unseen person that she's going to "wait for [them]".
While the footage was uploaded this week on to Reddit, it was apparently filmed some time ago.
Spirit Airlines has been contacted for comment.
