“too late to do anything about it, and too early to start shooting”

I agree with a heavy heart. We all know that this is going to get worse before it gets better.

We WILL be living in Ghettos, walled off from the world. We will be in forced labor, or simply locked up before we wake up.

And success has come from this before - so don’t get depressed.

But if a few men can lash out - if just a few people can demonstrate effective resistance that actually works - then the rest will come about fast.

We are blessed now. We have technology. I don’t need to assemble an army to keep invaders out of my town anymore. I need a laptop and access to a network. Basically, “Send an email telling troops to roll out”

The new war is a war of data and programs. And by that I mean statistics and instructions. Those are two things that are very easy to fight. Mess up their data so that commanders will be too afraid to move on otherwise and previously actionable intel, and then when they do drop an instruction in the action that screws the whole thing up.

All of this shit is computerized. Don’t need a bullet or to even be present in the battlefield to work with that.

Oh I am not depressed, and as a student of history know of many situations that were worse than our own. And when thinking about these things while I was younger, I never worried about the fight. But when you get older, and start a family, you look at those wonderful young kids and hope to God and all that is holy, that they do not have to fight.

What saddens me the most is how we (the collective American we) have let everything get this far.
