walking ... I understand that quotation is from Claire Wolfe and it goes something like this ...

That said, what a chilling article! It is true that only the tiniest of towns could set a defensive perimeter without having skunks inside the wire. And there is no “wilderness” to escape to and set up a new order. Creepy stuff.

there's farm and ranch land...if a large number of people pooled their money they could buy several thousand acres..

it would require smallish homes, and frugal living....

it would require everyone...young and old...to do something for the community...

haven't the Amish or Mennonites taught us anything?

Yea I grew up in a small town, under the thought of Sovoet nukes and Soviet invasion. I like to think of mine as the Red Dawn generation. We always had plans for what we do if the Russians came (as good of plans as you can have when your a little kid playing with toy guns haha).

Anyway it sure is sad that we have to think of similar things but with our own govt being the Soviets....
