Most probably have no idea what one is anyway.
The current old vehicle and motorcycle projects have had that as one of several common problems.
Getting that Weber 32/36 adapted to fit on my F-134 Willys CJ5 was well worth it. I wound up putting in a check valve, fuel regulator and an inline pressure gauge. I’d already gone with electric fuel pumps. I will never go back to mechanical.
I’m still on hold for the CB750s that I sent off for rebuild but expect them any time now based on the last thing I got back.
The old K5 could use another 4 barrel.
Now, he is learning about repairing a very lucky engine that only partially dropped a valve seat on the way home from the lot.
(He ignored my advise on getting a buyer inspection at an independent shop)
Of course I have to teach him, it is an opportunity for him to finally get his hands dirty and learn something important about life...everything either takes time and skill or money, luck is just not to expect, and there is no App that fixes cars.
