Agreed. I’m getting sick of actors and actresses expounding at great length at how we should think and behave. They are actors and actresses and should stick to there role.
I'd say just shut up period. De Niro did some great films back in the 70's and 80's (including Taxi Driver), but almost everything he's done in the past 20+ years has been trash. Maybe he's become political lately to compensate for the fact that he's been for all intents and purposes finished as an actor for years.
