Unless Christ pays for it and there is a miraculous return.

And the only thing stopping that is not God, but the people. They will not believe God would do this. “He is not willing that any should perish.”

An evangelist who goes out there stating this truth is going to be hooted at. But that is the only person who will be able to get the needed message across.

It was no secret that like all LGBT “non-discrimination” laws, this represented yet another legal hammer to impose a perverse agenda on an unwilling society.

Sorry, but disagree. Americans are voting FOR this. Maybe not directly, but effectively voting for this because the candidates who are pandering to the LGBTs are also pandering to them in some other way.

All trans-gender allowing bathroom laws have to be unconstitional. Women can have an abortion and legally kill a baby because or their “:right to privacy” being paramount.
Well we all have a right to privcy also. So based on the current inperpretaion of the Constituion in rerds to privacy all thes laws allowing opposite sexes into bathrooms have to be illegal

North Carolina is looking better every day for passing HB2.

Our local university basketball team is scheduled to play at North Carolina this season. The liberals are whining about it. All on behalf of a tiny fraction of one percent of the population afflicted with a mental disorder.

Trannys.. either adding nuts or removing nuts ...ultimately it’s still about “their nuts”

1. Ass-u-me’ing that his soul has not finally learned something helpful from its sojourn into insanity.

2. God often has more patience than WE do.
===============================================

1. How does a sojourn into insanity help ANYone? One isn't in his/her right mind. How can insanity be of ANY benefit? Insanity is a severe mental illness. One can only pray for that poor tormented soul.

2. God ALWAYS has more patience than WE do. He would have to, wouldn't he?

It can serve as a contrast when a return to sanity comes. The bible even spoke of this happening to Nebuchadnezzar.

"Praise the Lord O my soul and FORGET NOT ALL HIS BENEFITS"

You might as well ask how punishment can help anyone... same principle. And the bible speaks of turning one over to Satan to be taught not to blaspheme.

Hmmm. You are assuming that said "soujourn" into insanity leaves one with the ability to perceive the contrast when sanity returns. I KNOW it's not that simple. There's no "on" and "off" switch for sanity/insanity.

Insanity, I think, has to be the very worst of human ailments. One's SOUL is affected. We can only pray for those poor people and leave them to God's enduring love and mercy.

Um, GOD has that switch in His hands.

I think you consider insanity out of the control of even God. The bible testifies otherwise.

I am NOT asking how punishment can help anyone. That's one concept that most humans learn by the time they reach THREE YEARS OF AGE.

Lol. You must be accustomed to dealing with children as that seems to be your level of conversation to me. Nothing wrong with it all all although it's sometimes a bit simplistic. But, it's refreshing on a site like this.

And if we study actual cases of insanity, we can see how they are frequently actually punctuated with lucidity. It is seldom all insanity all the time.

Can you wrap your head around the idea that God permitting this is a PUNISHMENT? But not an arbitrary punishment, but one tailored to teaching a soul.

And if I speak to you about childish concepts, perhaps there is a good reason for it: Jesus said nobody enters the kingdom of heaven except as a little child.

Um, I didn't say anything to the contrary.

I think you consider insanity out of the control of even God.
Well, given your past performance I am not surprised at your misreading of me. What gave you that absurd idea of me is of no interest to me but it does say a lot of about your own character...and some of it not so Christian.
But everyone has a lacuna in his/her life, so no big deal.

You also seem to assume that I haven't clue one as to what the Bible says. Again, you misread me. It seems rather un-Christian of you to express such a low opinion of me.

Pax tibi!

"We"?? Who is this "we" you speak of? Are you a clinical psychologist? If that is so, then you missed your courses on insanity.
Insanity is a chemical imbalance of the brain and if some poor souls are genuinely insane, they are so all the time, WITH periods of mania AND depression.
Their brain had that infirmity from the moment of inception.

I also STRONGLY disagree that their insanity is ANY kind of punishment for them OR their family. That kind of thinking is as archaic as it is wrong. I don't even BEGIN to know God's plan or why He creates souls the way He does but He is a God who loves all of His creations.

But YOU seem to know God's thinking and plans...and you actually believe, poor soul that you are, that our good Lord creates insanity in people as a PUNISHMENT, one that is "tailored" to teaching a soul.

God help you.

Oh dear, you are equating yourself with Jesus.
Delusions of grandeur, you poor soul.

And you OBVIOUSLY don't have a clue about the HUGE difference between childISH and childLIKE.
Clue: it's NOT good to be childISH. Jesus meant us to be childLIKE.
I will pray for you.

You will pray proudly for me, I am sure.

I never equated myself to Jesus, only to a keeper of the door through which Jesus can come to you — same as any other Christian can be.

Look at yourself in a mirror when you talk of delusions of grandeur.

I have to be honest: I forgot to pray for you this morning.
BTW, how does one pray "proudly"? You seem to be an expert on pride, having brought it up more than once.

I never equated myself to Jesus, only to a keeper of the door through which Jesus can come to you — same as any other Christian can be.
Well then, my apologies. It SEEMED to me that you did, but I stand corrected.

Look at yourself in a mirror when you talk of delusions of grandeur.
Snide right back, eh? Well, thanks for showing your character, or lack of it.
