Chelsea Manning, the jailed transgender Army soldier convicted of leaking classified information to WikiLeaks, is demanding that the service give her "adequate treatment" for her "gender dysphoria" and recent suicide attempt.
Manning's supporters on Wednesday plan to unveil 115,000 petition signatures to the Secretary of the Army demanding the special medical treatment. They also want the Army to drop charges stemming from her July 5 suicide attempt.
In a statement alerting the media to the Wednesday event, the head of a group supporting Manning said that the military is mistreating the jailed soldier formerly known as Bradley Manning.

We should be helping him commit suicide. "He", and I use that term loosely, is an utter piece of human trash that needs to die.
More than 50% of transgenders commit suicide. This ought to tell the rest of the population that this group constitutes a mentally ill segment of the population.

Help to fight suicide? Ok, how about I slap him across the face until he agrees that he is a man and not a woman. I’m pretty sure that would resolve some of the delusions that fuel his suicidal thoughts.
On second thought, maybe he is a woman trapped in a man’s body. After all, men don’t whine and threaten suicide, they just do it. It’s women that threaten it as a “cry for help”.
Is there a choice as to which order the procedures are performed in?
Prisoners convert to Islam or demand sex changes because these actions give them more control over their environment. I also think Manning is an attention whore and is trying to extend his 15 minutes. The best thing to do is stop reporting oh his “demands.” Treat him like the court instructed, which I disagree with, but it is the court and, apparently, they have the say here.
Personally, I’d have ignored all his “demands” and treated him like any other prisoner.
Being that the incidence of suicide increases after sex reassignment surgery, this may be a good investment.
