NO no no no no... When I quit I.T. for a while, I answered an ad in the paper to be an apprentice for a very high end, European trained mechanic.
He runs an elite car shop out of Bridgeport CT. It was there that I was exposed to a lot of high end cars, both in the seat and under the hood.
So “the drives” that I did with them were test drives.
You got to learn about the realities of exotic cars, and were paid to do it? Sounds like a fun job.
