LOL, I remember a Monday night game at Soldier Field where it rained buckets. The field could have had ladders to negotiate the trenches in the turf.
It was the night they retired Dick Butkus’ jersey. He stood out there in a virtual hurricane giving a half-time speech thanking the fans.
Perfect football conditions.
